Our transmission was failing in our service van. We took it to someone else who had it over a week and I had to call them to find out it is shot and was told a couple weeks and $$$$. We need our service van everyday and reluctantly, I paid the diagnosis fee and took a chance with Aamco. Aamco had our van done in 3 days with a better warranty and about $1000 less than the other company. We have been using the van every day for over a month now and so far so good. I highly recommend Aamco of Venice due to the speed of repair and the not cheap, but reasonable price. It is nice to know who I will trust if we lose another Transmission.
Moved into the area just down the street from this Venice AAMCO location and thought it would be convenient to establish a relationship there. My vehicles didn't need any regular service yet but my Lincoln's tire had a slow leak so I called them, anticipating they may not be interested in working on such a small job for a new customer. But I was given an appointment time for the next day and on arrival I was pleased to see a clean and spacious check in area with a waiting room and was greeted warmly. I left the car there and was called within 2 hours letting me know the vehicle was ready. Prompt service, professional attitude, and fair pricing. I'll definitely be taking my vehicles there for regular service.
When we first moved to Venice I knew I needed to find a shop that I could count on and wouldn't blow smoke just because I was a woman. I've had everything from exhaust, brakes, oil changes, shocks, struts and control arms replaced on my 13+ year old vehicle with the highest level of satisfaction in every case. They may not tell you what you necessarily want to hear but they tell you what you need to hear. I don't know where I would be without Bob and Dallas.
